Wedding day, my mom sister and I came in again for hair and makeup and she had ONE person doing everything in a two hour time slot. I was furious, and LATE for my wedding.
Guess I will start with the good. First off the Taffy Salon is very clean and neat. My stylist was very sweet and pleasant. My hair cut was great. She took her time and made me fell very comfortable. Now with the bad..... I was greeted by a very nice gentleman however later to find out was making sexual insinuations and comments about me to other staff. I am not only mortified but embarrassed by this gentlemen. Which in fact will be addressed to the BBB and to all of my peers. And now with the ugly....The owner of the salon is very rude and disorganized. I'm not sure if she realizes that when we sit in the chair we hear the gossip they speak to other clients. She spoke very negatively about some of her staff members. She clearly does not care about the people that work for her or have respect for others. This was the first and last time I will ever visit Taffy Salon. She never once welcomed anyone that walked through her door. I will be acting on the sexual harassment issues which I have commented on above above.
The owner is incredibly disorganized, careless and disrespectful. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars at all is because here employees Billy and Danielle were fabulous. Clearly stressed from there bosses ignorance, they still did an incredible job. Billy and Danielle certainly deserve 5 stars, unfortunately the business does not. I'll never go back.
My mom, sister and I came in for our spa day two days before the wedding (hoping for no other issues) to find that the massage therapist did not show up. Also, the owner asked again if I had made my deposit and asked me how much I owed. I clarified my payment for her, and luckily had receipts.

I have never had a bad experience at this salon. Billy is my stylist and I couldn't ask for anyone better. He has always listened to what I have wanted and if he doesn't think it would be best for me, or my hair, he will let me know. Ultimately it is my decision, but Billy really knows what he is doing. I always leave there feeling and looking my best. Thank you Taffy Salon. And thank you to Billy. You rock.
I booked a spa day and hair/makeup in July for my January wedding. I wanted everything scheduled in advance. When I called in December to pay my deposit, nothing was scheduled for me. It took two weeks to get everything rescheduled, but we did get it scheduled and the deposit was paid. I then got a phone call from the owner the following day asking if my deposit was made and argued with me about how much I owed, she claimed I owed more than what she previously told me.
I LOVE going to see Danielle Hess at Taffys Salon and Spa. I have gone to her for a few years now and I haven't been disappointed. She takes her time and is meticulous in making sure that you're hair is exactly how you want it. She can take your slightly unrealistic Pinterest-inspired hair picture and matches it perfectly to your own hair. Definitely recommend this Salon of highly talented professionals!
